I need help. I don't need another Starfire. Thanks to nationwide Craigslist search, I am now waiting for this one as well. I simply couldn't let it go.

I haven't seen many 70s Starfires with flame like that. I'm excited! I guess now I'll be able to write a nice vintage vs. 90's report. :)

Don't feel bad. I find myself wanting a SF, and I don't play electric or own an amp. Nice axe, enjoy.

I just use Google, type my keywords in quotes with plus signs in between, then a space and then site:craigslist.org.

That tells Google to only look through craigslist ads and only the ones that contain all of my keywords. That's how I found the DeArmond I just bought.

And I find myself thinking of the Starfires too although I have no idea why exactly. Not for my style of guitar at all (hence my S-100 addiction).

Nice score GAD! ------

---- or should you have your user name legally changed to GAS?

You certainly are the embodiment of it these days!!!!

heh. Sad but true. This is my last one I swear! BTW I just KNEW that the moment I pulled the trigger on the '99 SF4 that a killer vintage one would show up. Of course had I not bought that one, then the killer vintage one would have never shown up. There is no spoon...

Anyway I gotta sell some off to make room!

Yup. That's always the way it happens GAD. I think that '73 is slick, but I'd keep the one that gets you in the gut.

I always keep the guitar that "sings to me".
