Hi GG; I prowled around your site; pretty cool stuff. I recently abated my GAS with a Pepto-Rickenbacker and my AAS with another tweed Gibson amp ... My wife and I usually make it over there about once a year ... mostly in February or March ... and stomp around with the rest of the klutzes admiring the real estate. You and I could yack about Naples all day and never come close to convincing the other BBers how drop-dead gorgeous those old neighborhoods on the Gulf are. See you then. CJ

& I'm in Bonita Springs, but I'll be on my way home to Maryland's Eastern Shore come the 17th.
I looked up Guildgator online a couple of days ago,but haven't looked for the shop yet. Was wondering if that's closer to Naples Park & Bonita, rather than downtown?
:idea: Okay, GooglyMap says just south of Golden Gate Parkway. Closer to downtown, but I get down that way from time to time.

I've played some GAD's and found them to be unacceptable FOR ME at any price. I've owned a Made in Mexico Strat for about 8 years, and it is great, and so worth the $300 I paid for it new in 2000. My point is not to fan the fire, but to say that wonderful instruments can be produced anywhere on the planet. It's all about who's calling the shots.
