What makes this funny is how true your statement was blake; the semicolon is soooooo neglected in our grammar; I almost feel sorry for him; I feel like making up for all the time lost; so thanks again for helping rescuing this neglected, but pivotal accessory of our everyday writing / typing.
And it's free folks!!!! Use as many as you want; fear not the misuse; help our friend survive the invasion of the "new wave" communication, brought forth by the damned texting disease, comprised mainly of punctuation free abreviations..... LOL OMG WTF LMAO BRB etc etc....

LET'S SAVE THE SEMICOLON!

I focus more on trying to not split infinitives or end sentences in prepositions. I'm sure you all know where I'm coming from. As for semicolons - I'm sure they're good for something. ; - )

They are Geoff. They are.
And to tell you the truth, I am a bit disappointed in you, missing a great opportunity to help promoting our friend, instead of breaking your post in two sentences with the use of this plain looking period...

I did pass up the opportunity...and edited my post above to more accurately reflect my daily grammatical shortcomings.

Now back to our regularly scheduled emoticon:

I go in phases with my guitar choices and my Guilds keep coming back on top. Black is my favorite (except for green and white)!

I would have bought that and I just dumped WAY too much on a new rig for the band with whom I am playing (Ahem, Bluesypicky...have to stay guarded).

The guitar left the Madison Guitar Center store via UPS this afternoon, I hope they were honest about its condition. I should have it Saturday. :D

I will more than likely just turn around and resell it, but ya never know... it could end up being a keeper.

I hope so too! I purchased a 64 polara out of the hollywood store, the salesman told me it had a few scuff's here and there and it was a high 8 on the Richter scale- when i took it out of the case and looked at it, the back looked like it was used as a shield in a war, however the front was clean, needless to say I returned it to a nj location the next day. hope your happy drc

And what is that supposed to mean hmm?
That I can't stay focused on a thread subject more than five minutes?
Oh... a squirrel just went by!!!

Dave, how do these single coil sound on your S70-D? Say compared to a strat? Never got a chance to hear them.

At that price, the case would be the least of my worries.

Congrats on the new guitar!

Good work, drc! And nothing wrong with a G*bson case.

What's the SN? Can't make it out in the pic.

Yup. Overspray. They were bad for that.
