Hopefully someone can help me out on a few questions.
I have a S-250. It has mismatched strap buttons. The one on the bottom is solid and looks pressed in, as there is no screw. And the one on the upper horn is your standard screw in type.
Which is stock? And if it is the pressed kind, where can I find one of those?

Also.
I sincerely doubt I will be able to find an original case for this. So does anyone know what other models used the same hardshell as this guitar? I would prefer the shaped hard case to the rectangular...

Also, HI! I'm new here!

Hi,

The strap configuration you described is stock for Guilds of that era. My S275 and a pair of M80's of that era have the similar arrangement.

With patience you can pickup a stock case up for your guitar on ebay. The one you want is the rectangular case with the tan tolex and brown ends. They have a foil Guild sticker placed near the handle. I have also found that some of the 1980's cases that are brown can fit. I'll try to provide additional info later.

I might actually have one of the brown ones of which Mat speaks. I can try to zip over to Dreamlander's house this weekend and see if his S-275 fits if you like.

Awesome! Thanks for the information.

I might be interested in that case.
Let me know if it fits :)
