Going to see them tomorrow night at Foxwoods. They must have added the show because I don’t think I saw this date when they announced their tour schedule. Really glad I was listening to commercial FM this morning.

Enjoy! They are really firing on all cylinders on this final leg of the tour. (y)

my next concert is Jeff Beck at The Anthem in Wash DC. Can’t wait! It’ll be my 9th time seeing him!

So we went to the show last night. It was spectacular. Opening act JD McPherson played a great rockabilly set and then played with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. They played a mix of songs from their two albums, covers, and Zep songs. Battle of Evermore in particular was amazing, with Ms. Krauss admirably handling Sandy Denny’s part. My one very minor knock is that Plant really doesn’t get stage patter. My theory is that he was a rock god for so long that he never had to learn and now that he’s doing these intimate theater shows he feels like he has to. My wife and I are both incredibly glad we went.
