Wow. That is not a phrase one hears very often. A great player. Also a sadly under appreciated player.

Also another loss last year. He passed away in April.

In his 90s from COVID19 complications. He always attracted good, young talent. After Corea he hired Jan Hammer. I'm not sure, but I think he was the last survivor of the Miles Davis Birth of the Cool sessions in '49.
