I have seen reports of Bozo's death. Another giant. I played a rosewood dread 12er of his many years ago. Huge sound and very playable.

Shame if turns out he has passed away. I have heard his guitars were very fine examples of functional art, especially his 12 strings.

BTW, his first name is actually Božo, with the "ž" pronounced like a "zh" as in the s in vision or measure & the "o"s are short sounding o like in fort. Božic means ""Christmas". Unfortunate that his particular name doesn't translate well into English.

Hi- Sad news; I own a '71 bell 12 and it is not only the most powerful 12 I have played but also a work of art. Talked with him on the phone a few years ago and he was very sincere and personable.
