In General...
If I buy a new Bigsby for $130 and a vintage Guildsby for $200 and install them on a identical pair of Guild guitars, say a 2000 $1200 X150D, does the value of the X150D increase, decrease or stay the same to the origional $1200 value in the market place?
Similarly if the guitar goes up in value does it increase $130 with the addition of a Bigsby, $200 with the Guildsby or more or is it less?
Additionally, what happens if the modification is reversable or non reversable. If reversable is the value enhanced? If non reversable less enhanced, no change or reduced value?
Finially what if the Guild is vintage and from the pre-Guildsby period and Guildsby is installed?
This is a tricky question as not everyone may want a given feature but we are all pretty knowlegable around here of the value of Guilds in the market. I am just curious of the opinion from the LTG brain trust.
Note: Pick ONE from choices 1-3 and Pick ONE from choices 4 -6. Item 7 and 8 are optional and worded as a True/False with True when the box is selected.
