I’m going record my ‘35 diddly bow through my ‘60 Champ and my ‘70 S-100 through my ‘67 Thunder 1 RVT today. We’ll mic the reverb speaker separately from the 12” speaker. I might try the diddly bow through the Thunder 1 too, using heavy reverb. This should be a fun afternoon.

Sweet! How are you going to mic the RVT? I like a 57 on each speaker but a room mic is also nice in a good room.

Yes, there will be a room mic too… sort of like setup when I recorded the Thunderbass.

Great setup, I love that S-100. And fellow Thunder 1 owner, and fellow often-in-VT-er. Cheers.
