Our local bookstore had an event a couple of nights ago. Quincy Jones has come out with a big autobiography / coffee table book kind of thing. Lots of photos, pull outs and extras. Very neat book. Anyway, he was in the store for a kind of reading / interview. It was packed, lots of musicians and guitar players, both anonymous (me) and famous (Santana was there to do the intro). Looks like Les Spann with an... A350 or A500? Not sure. The photo caption for the one where he's holding/playing the guitar doesn't identify anyone, so I'm not sure if it's even him, but it looks like the same Les Spann as the guy on page 82 in Hans' book. You don't see a lot of Guilds with Charlie Christian pickups. Wonder if it was a special order or something. I'm really bad at getting photos into posts, so if I fail the first time, I'll come back and try again. Cool photos...
