One of the floating bigsby types, not the screw in type. If you slap that on a SFII, is it going to harm the SFII in any way (other than the felt feet maybe doing some finish rubbing on the top)? In other words, when you work the twang bar by pushing down into the top, wouldn't that put the top in danger of cracking? Does the SFIII have a post or something under the top to guard against this, something the SFII doesn't have? The last time I put a bigsby on something, it was a semihollow so no worries - drill into the block, you're done. But with a thinline hollowbody I'm completely lost. Any insight folks? Again, not saying I'm doing it, just wondering in case i get tempted in the future. Thanks!
