For anyone who's missed my Friday blog postings, my apologies. I've been extremely busy with a writing deadline and unfortunately had to prioritize writing for money over writing for fun.

I think you'll like this entry, though it wasn't written by me - it was written by my Daughter, Meghan. It's a story she wrote for school about our family's tradition of pumpkin picking.

Please tell Meghan how much I enjoyed her "article" about the family pumpkin picking adventure. She is a talented young writer. I was smiling the entire time while I was reading it. Her words painted a great time and family tradition. Yes, indeed, she is a talented wordsmithy.

Oh man....whew...here I'm trying to expand my skills with hybrid picking, and flat picking and then I see. Pumpkin Picking....and thought OH NO....what now.....anyway....I had a picture of my grand daughter at about a year old sitting on a pumpkin in a field of them...and she had this wonderful smile with her hands together as if to say...a great big THANK YOU, to whoever was responsible for making this....just for her....
