What do you think a fair price for a 1975 (SN 117xxx) G-37 would be? Guitar is in excellent condition, all original, only minor play wear. Neck set is good. Wood is very plain as far as no flame and very little grain. Will have to double check whether a case is included or not. Will work on getting some photos.

A one-year-old price guide says $575 to $700 for one in excellent condition.

I paid around the lower end of that range for one several years ago. Its case is in decent shape, though a strap had been substituted for a missing handle.

I paid near (just under) the low end of that for my '74, w/o case in 2006 (all original, VG condition, fairly plain figure, with just a little bird's eye on the back). I would assume that the G-37 in question has a mahogany neck and Gold Guild silk screened headstock? I think the Chesterfield headstock and maple multi-ply neck was introduced ~'76... and (from my observation of eBay sales) use of back and side wood with more attractive figure/flame began about that time, as well. From what I have seen, G-37s from ~'76 on, with the more nicely figured woods, tend to command a somewhat higher price.
