Here's a fun tip that I only figured out recently. When you post a pic here as an attachment, you can very easily adjust the size. I do this now with most vertical pics because they end up being huge. How? After pasting or dragging&dropping, or any other method, click on the image and you'll see a blue box. Grab one of the squares on the box and you can resize!

You can also click on the 4-way arrow and put in a manual size, but I find the blue squares to be much simpler. This image is enormous, but I resized it to be smaller:

Does it change the size of the file, or just the appearance? (Which im sure your server would appreciate.)

Value added feature for sure. Still, I re-size my jpgs to something in the 300-500Kb range to minimize the file size so as to keep the servers happy. :)

Nope - just the display size. The file size is reduced when you paste the file. If you notice a small lag when you paste a file that’s the server resizing it so it doesn’t kill the server’s disk space.

I should point out that the software resizes automatically to the available width on the page, so this isn't something anyone needs to worry about, but sometimes a pic is just TOO big! :)

I just drag and drop. The software figures it all out. The only time I'm disappointed is when my photo on this end is tiny. It's a size thing......:rolleyes:
