Hi there,
I've been hit by a severe GAS attack and keep finding guitars that I really want. While I'm really looking for a maple F-50, I have come across its slightly smaller sibling, the F-40. I know that it has a 16" lower bout, but that's about all I know. I own a good-looking blonde Gibson J-185-12 and quite like its tonal balance (thinking it would make an even better 6-string...).
What can youse tell me about the F-40 other than what's in Hans' great book?
Cheers,
Recky
