I'll post this in the 'fix it' section as well.. So my dear cats were running laps the other day and I left my JS-II in its stand a bit closer to the drapes than I usually do.. came home, the bass was face down on the floor, the cats looked at me like they'd never seen it..

Anyway, everything's fine, the bass is in a better place, somewhere it can't get knocked, but the plastic tab that screws onto the pickup selector broke off. It's an odd part.. anyone got one they don't need? I play my red JS more than my natural JS so I might just snag the other's tab for a bit, but I'd like to get a permanent fix.

Thanks!

(And yes, I visited Hagstromarts.se, it's my go-to, but they're empty-handed on this part.)

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for. I assume that is a JS II in the picture below.
But you ask for a plastic part of the pickup selector switch? There is no plastic part? It's all metal. Can you clarify ?
Is it the switch tip you asked for? Have a look here, maybe that helps:

No ideas. I was thinking the corresponding tab was metal on my '71 but since I've never disassembled it...

Lots of cats and Guilds stories around here. Glad no cats were harmed in the incident

Is that a Canadian thing? Wasn't it Graham who said "I like cats but I just can't eat a whole one anymore?"

Of course, I am a known purveyor of kitty porn.

If cats could talk, I'm sure the first thing that they would say is "what part of 'meow' do you not understand?" Steffan
