Ok, folks, you asked for it, so here it is. Gotta tell you, there is nothing that isn't 'new' about this guitar. Even sounds new, Right now I've got Medium 13 DaDario Strings on it, and while it whispers nicely it is very loud when you hammer it. My first archback. me, and my D4.

Pretty... is a D-4 satin, hand rubbed, or gloss?

Hi Gardman, its a hand rubbed job, you can feel the whole thing vibrate when its played, though its still got that new sound, just hasn't been played, not a mark on her, same with the nicely padded hard shell, not a Guild case, it has 3 latches but is substantial. There is black binding around the top and none where the bottom joins the side. Grover tuners. I used to have an old D35, man that thing was sweet. These are all great guitars, but some of them are very, very nice. This one is still a 15 year old baby. If the neighbors complain i'll just say, hey.....she's 15, I can't control her! Steffan

Cool guitar Taabby! NOS you say.......doesn't it make you wonder just how many new old stock Guilds are really out there? After visiting a shop in Dallas a bit over a year ago that had several, I certainly do wonder.

Nice score,
West

Closets, West this gal bought this in 94 when she was in college, never learned to play it, and it just sat in the closet most of its life in its case... Wonder if those junk removal guys come across these kinds of treasures, or maybe thats a spin off business for them. Attics too probably have a few forgotten guitars up there,.....whats in your attic??? Steffan

If you and I were playing together, you would be the only Scratch on it. Steffan
