Pickguard Design Change

I noticed most of the new pickguards on the jumbo's are shaped differently than they used to be. I contacted Guild/Fender and was told that Fender has changed the size and shape to fit around the rosette ring instead of covering it up like all the old ones used to do.
I'm not sure I like the look of the newer ones yet. But a pickguard is an easy thing to change.
Anyone have a new Jumbo with the new style pickguard?
What do you think of them?
The Guild catalog shows every single jumbo and twelve having the old style. These are not available any more if guild is telling the truth.

Could you replace a small one with a big one without it being obvious that it's not original?

I agree the new pickguards does look a bit... dodgy in lack of a better word. The inlay might show all the way around, but even so I find the guitars with this pickguard look cheaper than those with the original one. The more or less beautiful proportions of this bulky pickguard are altered and the outocome is, not surprisingly, the instruments seem to be lacking in pondus.
