“Tarantula Xenesthis immanis keeps small frog Chiasmocleis ventrimaculata as a "pet", to eat insects that eat the spider's eggs. In return the frog receives protection, in a so-called relationship of mutualism.”

Food: It keeps a body fed.

Its a pet … until its dinner. Pretty neat however.

I remember the time my youngest brother, then in junior or high school brought a tarantula home from the pet shop. My mother went into hysterics, and made him take it outside and right back to the shop. I thought it was super cool, but then again I love snakes, lizards and such.
