very intense. I was down there many years ago, out in NYC for a conference at Pennsylvania hotel, then we took subway down to the memorial, and the pools. just such a heavy air there, and it was bright sunshine, beautiful early may afternoon, but you wouldn't know it as soon as you stepped foot on the grounds. and no one said a word, groups of people milling around not saying anything. just total sadness.

the version of this song he did I would imagine is what it sounds like when he plays it in his apartment, alone.
