Did Guild ever use spacers under their Franz dog ear mounting rings?

Note to Graham: not to be confused with dog rear.

From what I've seen, no they did not use spacers. the covers were just taller of the bridge pickup models. Gibson used spacers, but not Guild with the franz pickups.

Thanks, jazzman. I can't remember ever seeing Guild P-90s with spacers, but then half the time I can't remember what time zone I'm in.

No, not that I've seen. Like Jazzman says, the bridge cover is taller.

I've built a custom spacer for my DeArmond X155-to-Franz converson because the neck sits really high above the body. Patience, some plastic and some tools,...
