Oxnard Guilds : No Labels Inside ?

...and then there's my New Hartford F-30RCE, with a label, but no serial number on the back of the headstock...

^ Well, other than a few custom-shop models, no New Hartford (or Tacoma for that matter) had any branded serial numbers on the guitar. I always felt that was a step backward from the past that was really annoying. ANyway, I'm glad Oxnard has gone this direction. Paper labels are nice, if they're gonna add them too, but seemingly redundant now.

I would hazard that they're experimenting with the sonic properties of different labels materials as well as the presence or absence of same.
Also everybody knows labels have a lot bigger impact on the sound of an archback as opposed to a flatback whether it's audible to the average user or not.
And they bring out the phosphorous in PB strings.
S/N stamps and plates only affect headstock/neck vibrations.
