What years was the Guild owner's manual with the New Berlin, WI address used?

Thanks!

Al... the corporate headquarters of the company or group of investors that owned Guild during the 1990's was located in New Berlin, WI. This address in the owners manuel would probably have been changed after Fender bought the company in 1995. It may be that the Holding Company was the group that included George Gruhn, until he resigned over disagreements.

Ah, a PO Box.
I think it must at least predate Fender, as Fender only needed original purchase receipt and didn't require mailing in registration card.
And I think I'm remembering why New Berlin rang a bell: I think it might have been where US Musical Instrument Corporation(?) was registered.
Think they bought out Gruhn so would be late '80's but don't recall for sure and can't recall where that history's found, but pretty sure it was some time in '80's, and don't believe is (was?) the same entity as US Music Corp.
Hope that helps you narrow down the search, at least.
****Ah, I see sailingshoes nailed it while I was composing.

Seems to me US Music was also located in Scottsdale, AZ for a time when they owned Guild, yes no?

No. George Gruhn started designing guitars for Guild in early 1984 when Mark Dronge was still President of Guild under Avnet ownership. In August 1986 George Gruhn was part of the investment group headed by Jere Haskew who bought Guild from Avnet. Gruhn left Guild in late 1988 already and Guild was only sold to the Faas Corporation of New Berlin in 1989, so Gruhn was not involved with the Faas Corp.
