Very sorry to hear this, and I've been there a few times myself. Looks like he had a great run with you!

Thank you kind folks. I feel bad for sharing sadness but the kind thoughts are truly comforting.

A few facts about Norman:

He has been on several airplanes, but never had to fly commercial.
He was kissed by a man who then became President
He could actually catch squirrels. He dispatched nearly 10 squirrels and over a dozen mice.
He was a champion cuddler, and if you sat with him for over 10 minutes, you'd end up taking a nap.

What a superb looking pup. So sorry. Seems like a lot of our Faithful Friends have been leaving us lately.

Good thoughts sent your way.

We lost our best friend two years ago at the start of the pandemic. Due to pandemic-related issues, our ability to access skilled surgical treatment was delayed & most likely made the fatal difference.

Two months ago we finally seemed ready to move forward, and within a week, a perfect new rescue friend came suddenly into our lives through a unique circumstance.

Take as much time as you need, but remain on the lookout for good things that may be closer than they currently appear through the rear view mirror!
