I have a wonderful old early, higher end 1922 Oscar Schmidt Parlor guitar that I'm looking to sell to fund another purchase.

This is not to be confused with a later Harmony Stella guitar. The only thing they have in common is the name.

Top is red spruce and back and sides are quartered oak. It has recently had a neck reset and a new bridge added. Otherwise it's original. Has a really full, woody sound to it (logical since it's actually made of wood). Has a tiny nick on the fretboard under the 13th fret under the 1st string. Doesn’t affect playing at all. You can see it in pictures.

One thing I love about this guitar is the remnants of note overlays that someone had on there probably a century ago. They could be removed fairly easily if you don’t like them. I'm looking for $899. If you check Reverb, some of these sell for over 2K. Shipping would likely be about $100 fully insured, $125 if on the west coast.

Lowered price as low as I can. I would love for this to go to an LTG’r (even though it’s not a Guild!)

If I wasn’t in selling mode, I’d be all over this. Someone better buy it quickly. Great guitar at a great price.

I have a chance to pick up an old guitar of mine. So, I’m letting it be known I still have this for sale.

Very cool guitar! The “herringbone” purfling and back stripe look like genuine wood marquetry inlay. Good luck with the sale.

Heath - it's a strange guitar market right now isn't it? I just sold a Guild I wasn't using for a little over half of what I'd hoped to get.
Any change in your price? Ya got a guy here with money to spend.
