Can't you smell that smell
OOOH, that smell
Burning hair around you

So, I know it's time for a haircut, it's been a few years, but I seldom leave my property, don't see many people, don't chase women anymore and in general, could care less what I look like.

But today, I was trying to get my old, antique grille started to make me a hamburger. The igniter didn't work so I leaned over and put in a match. Unfortunately, all that propane had accumulated and whoosh, it attacked me. Singed my eyebrows and took off a hunk of hair. Who knows, maybe now I look like one of the punk rocker guys.

I'm thinking of contacting one of the major fragrance companies and marketing my own brand called Eau de Burnt Up Hair

Ack! Yeah, ya gotta let the propane dissipate a bit before striking that match. Glad the damage was relatively minor and you're okay.

It could be worse. We cooked a squirrel in our grill once that had apparently died in there over the winter. Didn't notice for a couple of meals.

I bought a new grill after that.

I love happy endings but prefer folks - whose friendship I value - avoid high risk encounters.
Shucks, what about the burger?

Screw the burger, how'd your hair turn out? Is it a neat and manageable shape? Like getting a haircut, only with FIRE?? Or do you now have to venture to a barber and get your burnt ends fixed?

I like to made my own bone saddles from blanks - they have their own particular smell too when you work on them.

Did that once in the ‘70s, starting a campfire with gas from my motorcycle’s float bowl. Never have done it again!

I seem to remember this being the way to fix split ends, back when I had to worry about that. I'm more after the Yul Brynner look theses days, a lot less maintenance, but overhead obstructions are felt more keenly...

I thought the line was The smell of death is around you, not about burning hair.
