Online shop order -- completed!!!

I'm very excited. I was finally able to get an order completed from guildguitars.com --> shop.guildguitars.com to buy the remaining 2 coasters (3 bucks ea.) that they had in inventory as part of "merch." As far as I know, only @Christopher Cozad was able to get this done recently, but now it finally worked for me! Funny how the shipping was twice as much as the coasters. It's the little things in life, right?

Took a week to get here, but my two coasters arrived. There's a lot of "Yamaha Guitar Group" on everything except the coasters.

Having been on the IT side of many mergers and acquisitions I'm amazed when one runs anywhere near smoothly. Glad to see they're starting to get the machine working!

Indeed. Well, I was able to log in to the shop and place the order now -- rather than getting some application crash, that is. I think what they did here is likely they just re-used whatever Line6 software they had and created the Guild "shop" in it. All the YGG branding, etc., is a good sign for IT merging stuff. Although I suspect though that when they try to take on the GuildGuitars content that's gonna' be messy. We'll see.

As you said, GAD, combining and making good use of corporate IT is a very difficult and long process.
