OM-240CE -- Better than Expected

My local Guitar Center (Fredericksburg, VA) has an OM-240CE on clearance for under $300. I was surprised by how nice it sounded. I don't need another guitar, but if you're looking for a reasonably-priced small-bodied instrument you might want to consider this one.

I was curious, and this guitar goes for between $410.76 (what an odd number) and $489.00 new at all the major retainers. 1 11/16" nut for those wondering (at least that is what is published). That price does not appears to include a gig bag or case., but regardless at this price seems like a no brainer...the one Brother Fuman found may well be a better deal, if you can try it in hand and personally evaluate it.

I can see that the resale market will have fallen right out from beneath my 14-year-old GAD-30PCE, ~$1500 new in '09 which I bought for ~$900...does have a hard case though, LOL...no, wasn't planning on selling her

Yeah, the 200-series comes with nothing, while the 100-series comes with a polyfoam gig case.

I bought an OM240CE a few months back under $400 shipped. For the price it's excellent. Not a fan of the tone and volume control in the sound hole, You really cant adjust on the fly, but otherwise it's nice.
