I need to open that old thread again as at least the blue one appeared back in May 2020 on Reverb! I just didn't remember in July of 2021:I played those Jetstar prototypes and they were cool, but when i was there before NAMM 2020 they had a Pelham Blue / White guard / Dynasonics with a stop tail, and an Orange / White guard /Dynasonics with a Bigsby B3 style tremolo on it, and a natural maple / black guard 3-P90's. The build quality was better and they played like butter, also really surf-punchy like one would expect from those pickups, very cool IMO.
Yep! I got to play this very guitar and it honestly sounded amazing, something about those pickups with the scale length and 6 in-line fender style headstock just brought it all together for me. I hope they have plans for this one down the road, I should have scooped it up on Reverb when I saw it :/ Thanks for the reminderI need to open that old thread again as at least the blue one appeared back in May 2020 on Reverb! Good question. But so far Guild has not introduced a "S-100 Deluxe" as a new model officially, only in those shots for the new case. So it might have been only a prototype, I guess we have to wait until at least January for the next NAMM show.why are they using a Starfire-5 Guildsby instead of an S-100 Deluxe Guildsby?
