Good luck with the sale Mike! This is a great guitar for a very reasonable price, and hopefully it can stay in the fold here.

Finding an Orpheum OM might not be so easy though...

I know. Well you certainly have a knack for finding some terrific DV72’s so this is your next mission… should you decide to accept it. As always should you be caught or seen looking for one on the Taylor forum GAD will disavow knowledge of your actions. Good luck, Sandy!

You had the work done as Mass St Music?! Cool! I used to live a couple mile from that shop. Mike worked on a couple of my guitars. Jim Baggett, the owner, used to let me borrow guitars to write articles for 20th Century Guitar Magazine.

Didn't the DV-72 come with Grover Imperial steel tuners? I bought one from Richard Peterson that had Imperials.
Correct Rich. As noted the ones on there are replacements but I bought a set of grover silver high ratio tuners and some grover imperial buttons that will look correct if desired.

The original owner did it shortly before he sold it.
