Hello,
I've seen some pretty glowing reports about the Rondo Music Fender clones on other lists/forums. Anybody have any experience with them? I'm thinking about picking up two of the Strat clones to donate to the afternoon music program at my school (it's really a juvy prison).

A left-handed buddy of mine has two Rondos. They seem to be pretty nice, although I haven't tried to play them, for obvious reasons. He has an older PRS clone and a Les Paul-alike with a cheap Floyd Rose. He had a problem with the treble E slipping out of the clamp. He was using coated strings and that may have contributed.

I also have a friend with a couple of Rondos. A Tele copy that is really pretty nice and a Gypsy jazz model that is really pretty bad.

I owned one of their Agile Al-2000 LP style guitars and for the money it was super. I really couldn't believe it. Better than any Epiphone LP I have ever played and the Tiger Eye finish was better looking the the Epis IMO. I had plans to put some Gubson pups in it but ended up selling it to pay some bills. Cant go wrong with the Rondo products, several of my friends have the Strat style and others and speak highly as well.

I've owned two Agiles... an early goldtop 2500 or 2800 and a more recent spalted 3100. Both of them I got used via Craigslist. Super guitars. Highly recommended!
