Nickel / Monel strings on flattops (and archtops...)?!?!

I use Monels and Elixer Nano PB I switch back and forth the my guitars with them they sound good to me .

Guidedagain comment on the Blueridge gave me chuckle . I’m not so sure the decades old Blueridges were all that .

Anyone use monels on their JF30? If so how do they sound?

I strongly dislike monels on rosewood, at least my rosewood dread, it's almost unbearable. I recently gave monels another try on my Oxnard D-40T and this time around I really clicked with them, and they last long too. I'll be using them often, not sure if I like them as much as DR Sunbeams on that guitar, but I'd say second place. I'll probably alternate between the two once I use up some of these other odds and ends strings.
