I believe Tele's are the greatest guitars ever made. Very close to Les Pauls.

but a Tele can do ANYTHING, and do it well. It can do a Paul tone, and it can touch on a strat tone. It also cuts right into the mix.

I guess what I'm saying, is the Telecaster is the most rounded instrument ever produced.
