Looks a lot like my old F-412. If it is, you have a really good one there. Although not really a 12 string fan, it pained me a bit when that one left the house. Enjoy your new friend Charlie!!!
Richard, I don't know if this was yours originally. I bought it from Rich in VA.
So, folks, It's an F-412 "Special Reserve" (i.e., GSR) from Tacoma in 2007. Yeah, the headstock faceplate (made of cocobolo) and block inlays are special. As I recall, the story was that the faceplate was actually done by the custom shop in Nashville -- though I'm not sure about that. And, yes, it's got one truss rod, not two. The tiger stripe maple sides and quilted back are beautiful (I will take more pictures when I give it a full cleaning and string change).
Fender presented this to American Music Supply, probably at NAMM 2008, though I'm not sure.
