CL000727, pulled from a Guitar Center a few months ago, now fresh out of the shop.

Neck and body were in excellent condition, but the hardware was a mess. Replaced pickups with vintage HB-1’s w/ NOS covers. Pulled the bigsby (no holes), and added Graphtech resomax bridge and stoptail. Added the vintage Guild knobs. I’m happy to see it looking like a proper Guild again.

That looks fantastic! Where did you find the HB1’s with NOS covers?

These pickups and covers were purchased separately on Reverb. The pickups were used, without covers, but the covers were NOS.

Great looking return to Guild beauty! Did the vintage HB1's require any routing?
Been thinking of installing HB1's on a Bluesbird.

Search or “bluesbird” on that page.
