I've got a few Guild acoustics but this is my first electric. I don't play much electric and can't justify spending a lot of money on a Westerly or Hoboken Starfire- but this came up on CL locally so thought I'd check it out... Needless to say once I saw it in person I took it home. It's a beauty- it's a 2013, but just one owner, a musician who used it sparingly and took good care of it. I'm really impressed with the build quality, and I love the neck profile- it starts off at .85" at the first fret, but stays really consistent all the way down the fingerboard. It's still only .88" at the 10th fret, and is really comfortable. And the red stripe down the back of the neck is a really cool touch, just like my Hoboken Guild acoustics from the 1960s. It sounds great plugged into my reissue Fender Champ 600, and I'm having fun experimenting with the tones I can get out of it.
