Andrew just posted yesterday about his NGD, a 1974 D 55-12 that he got from me. It is a great guitar for sure and I think ultra rare and special but I just don't spend a lot of time with 12 strings. I have a hard enough time with 6 strings, much less 12.
In comes Andrew. He had a JV 72 he was willing to trade for the D 55-12. I owned one once and it was superb. But, I sold it and as usual, have no idea why. This new one may not be as pristine as my first but it is an absolutely superb guitar and if memory serves mew right, sounds even better than my first. Plus Glenn and Andrew were both great stewards of the guitar and turned it into something really special. Glenn and Andrew posted about its past life. It went through some rough times but these guys brought it back and I'll tell ya, I'm a very happy camper. He packed the guitar really well and shipped super quickly. The set up is perfect for my needs/style.
I haven't taken any pics yet but you can find far better pics than I could ever come up with on Andrew's and Glenn's postings.
I love how we're able to keep certain guitars within the LTG family where it's a pretty sure bet they will be appreciated and taken care of like they for sure deserve to be.
