I have never owned a parlor size guitar, so when my search finally turned up this brand new 2010 GAD-F20 I jumped on it. The build quality of this little Chinese gem is outstanding. Now I need some playing time to see if I like it. I hope you enjoy the pics.

The Guild box was an added bonus from the seller. When I saw the box at my front door I felt like a kid at Christmas. That was worth it right there.

Lovin' the small Guild,

JJ

Great score! Congratulations. I also love the nice case that came with the 2010 models. The F-20 size is really comfortable for playing at home. Wouldn't mind to have one of them.

Inspired by this thread (or by the memory of this thread--I've been traveling since the thread started), I spent some time with my GAD F20 tonight for the first time in awhile. And you know what, I'm going to have to start giving it more attention. It looks great, sounds nice, and is very comfortable to play. In fact, I may take it to an open mic or two this winter.

Congrats Jeff. But you have a '64, curious why you would buy another? Specs substantially different?

I don't think Jeff said he was gonna buy another one..... just that he's gonna spend some more time with the one he already has. At least that's my take on his post. Congrats on the new guitar Joe. Those smaller bodied guitars are so nice and comfortable to play. I really enjoy my Taylor GC8. It's such a great size and a nice break from the dreads.....

He actually already has two. A '64 and a 2011.
Ralf

Right. I bought the GAD a couple of years ago, when I felt the need for the shorter scale, and liked it so much that when I found the '64 (a birth year guitar) I couldn't resist. The GAD hadn't been getting much playing time; ongoing to give it some exercise.
