So after years of searching I found a lesPaul I like! . The 59 neck is really comfortable and easy to play and set up to .65mm for the string hight .
the probuckers 1,2 are surprisingly nice . Don’t get me wrong I’ll probably upgrade them to Seth lovers once I get my four wheeler back from the shop . But they are much better than I thought they’d be .
the colour is a limited colour called translucent cherry so I deemed it “cherry blossom”
if you’re not looking it looks like a dark cherry in colour then boom wow . It has such a lively top on it .
it weighs in at 10.8 pounds on the scale.
I have both the bridge and neck pickup tone knobs turned down to 5 to help with the brightness .
i rolled the volume down to about 7 on the neck pickup tonight and it sound just right for something slow like “every time you go away” by hall and oats.
things I’d like to change is
Pickups (I want zebra )
Knobs (I want amber with chrome tops)
Bridge (I want a bigsby)
