Congrats on completing the set! That is one tough set to complete!

Thanks.

Well, there is still the DV82, but I guess if we are just talking DV7xs, the set is completed. But I don’t consider it complete until I get the DV82 or find out it doesn’t exist.

Love the fretboard inlays. Also the Grovers. Early ones too! Remind me to never yip about how much great guitars cost. As an blue collar guy, my wife would have go, if I bought/brought one of these babies home!

Except for the DC-130 (which I have no interest in) I may have every cloud inlay model as well.

D70, D70-12, DK70, D80, D80-12, D100, JF100, and JF100-12

Are there any others?

Interestingly, the neck block date is the same as my DV76 (April 15, 1994), which also has pink coral, although there are some minor differences
I just noticed this while looking at my spreadsheet as well... the only example of a pink coral DV-76 we have record of has a neck block date matching that of the one known neck block date from a batch of at least 3 coral DV-72s (15 April 1994).

It also suggests/indicates that this DV-76 was made roughly 2/3 of the way thru the production of DV-72s in 1994, BEFORE production of the DV-73s and DV-74s (completed in 1995 and 1995-96 respectively). The earliest neck block date I have recorded from DV-73s is 22 Nov 1994, on the 8th, 10th, and 12th examples of about 50 DV-73s completed in 1995. However, I believe awagner also has a DV-7X with DV-73 trim, but a DV-72 SN and neck block date of 29 Sept 1994 (I can't remember if the model number on the label was DV-72 or DV-73... Andrew?)

It also started me wondering... Are all of the approx 10 DV-76s made with coral trim and purfling, or might there perhaps be DV-76s with turquoise or malachite trim and purfling? Maybe we'll find out when vol 2 is published, or when Andrew posts another NGD!

My DV73's serial # is AD720177. The neck block date is September 29, 1994. The label identifies it as a DV-73 NT. So I beleive mine is a very early DV-73.

I would agree with that conclusion...
