Maybe for composition?I would never associate Cassandra Wilson with an acoustic guitar -- Guild or otherwise. I've never seen her play.
$$. Plus the first guitar was always free.Hmm jazz fusion? Why was she pictured with a Guitar again ?
Action fixed . Sound , I swear this guitar was barely played it was a action buy that include a good bit of guitars so they said .Hey Ray!! Congrats on that one. Looks BEAUTIFUL to me. From when I saw it earlier seem like you'll have to adjust the action a bit (I would) but still that saddle is super tall and it's just beautiful.. How does it sound???
Cool nice to know more owners . Then again I might ran across you before but I donāt remember. LolVery nice! Congratulations! I love my CV-1 and CV-2!
No, the series was not made for him but Tacoma offered a Willy Porter Signature Model. It was only shown in the 2008 price list, so it looks like it was available in the last year of Tacoma. And it also had the Graphite Neck Block System...Was this series not made for an artist? Sone finger style player? Will somebody...
Believe that's the soundhole mic on an arm, of the Fishman Ellipse Blend system. "Blend" systems had dual inputs: UST and mic.Ooooo change the pins and no one would ever know the difference unless that drilled through the back for a cord of some kind meant something ? Blow the pic up and look in the sound hole.
Hmm I missed the blend part but I havenāt heard of that model then again I donāt go looking for pickups . LolBelieve that's the soundhole mic on an arm, of the Fishman Ellipse Blend system. "Blend" systems had dual inputs: UST and mic.
Here's are Willy Porter pictures, it was quite a big system. The microphone arm came out in the left picture on the bottom and you could bend it as you liked, hence in some pictures it is visible and in others not.Believe that's the soundhole mic on an arm, of the Fishman Ellipse Blend system. No, the CV-1/CV-1C had rosewood back and sides, the Willy Porter model had flamed maple. So it's more similiar to the CV-2C, but the CV-2C had a red spruce top vs. sitka on the CV-1C and Willy Porter model. Also the CV-1C and CV-2C used the D-TAR Wave-Length Load'N Lock system vs. the Fishmann. And the CV-2C had an ebony fingerboard. So itās a blonde CV-1 Lol
Right on . But I just went with the CV-1 I had to pic one . LolNo, the CV-1/CV-1C had rosewood back and sides, the Willy Porter model had flamed maple. Technically I thought "Blonde CV-1" was ok, because "Blonde" means an unstained maple body and natural top.Right on . But I just went with the CV-1 I had to pic one . Lol
Truth to tell I only put it together when I saw the Fishman system described on that price page and realized what the "Blend" had to imply, as I have the earlier "Pro-Blend" system on my F65ce. And have seen a soundhole-mic-on-an-arm on an F65ce, described as an option by Hans.after I went to bed last night I got thinking about the pick up system being the Fishman . Wasnāt thinking much originally about the pick ups .
lol
Must be a rare gem I never seen one for sale not that I was looking hard for it .Technically I thought "Blonde CV-1" was ok, because "Blonde" means an unstained maple body and natural top.
