P90's are some of the best pups ever! I have an old LP with P90's that just roars when you want it to and then dials back into jazz effortlessly. I noted that most P90-equipped guitars do the same. Sure, you might get some single coil noise. But just keep your hand on the strings when not playing. Looks like you have many good playing times ahead!

The description there says the pickups are Duncan special designs. One more thing for GAD to explore in depth!
