Here is my headstock shots. Mine is the HR (hand rubbed) mahogany, so much lighter.

I think that may be my old F30. Double check the neck block again, on the beveled edge (treble side), it may be faint but the date is probably there.

Scott - nothing stamped on the right side bevel of the neck block?
Kinda hard to see as it's tricky to get light directly on that surface.

Yup! I believe you guys are right. I used a mirror and flashlight and it appears to be stamped 1998.

Thanks guys. Yeah, nothing on the neck block, but their charts say they made no F30's in '96. So maybe that's wrong?
I think the fact that it's only 5 guitars away from the last one built in '95 would make calling it a '96 a good call.
I'll go with that, unless someone knows better.
