This popped up on Reverb last night. I don't see them come up for sale often. I know, I know, there will be a lot of haters on the PG but frankly Scarlett, "I don't give a damn". I like the model and I guess that's all that matters to me. I likely overpaid but this is one I wanted and I likely won't get too many more chances to pick one up so......

If the ad is correct, it's never been sold or used before so is basically NOS. Not sure if the warranty will be available or honored but that's not a major concern to me. I've never used a guitar warranty yet anyway.

I love a Maple guitar and especially the looks of one with a flamey Maple neck.

I won't receive this one for a few days but here's some pics from the listing.

Richard:
Glad you found one. The 1983 G45 I got from you is still getting played in the rotation of six acoustics - G45, DV52, D55 my current Guild's and three Bozung's. Amounts to being played couple days every two weeks

That is a very sweet guitar. I don’t hate you for the pg, it is what it is. Good luck with it

Richard, you're gonna love that guitar!! My D65S was a special run of 20 for Guitar Center, that is based on the G45, with the neck of a D55 and fancy tuners. Such a sweet sounding guitar and I predict you're gonna LOVE IT!!! Can't wait for delivery!!!

I like it except the PG, however if it was mine, I could get use to it immediately.

Some guitars I bought I didn't like, like parts of them, however, I do get to like them later, yours being one I could get use to.

Congratulations Richard. Drop dead gorgeous guitar, and I do like the pickguard as well. Nothing like flamey maple. I bet it will sound terrific. Amazing that it was NOS. Now go play the heck out of it!

Another maple lover here. Can’t go wrong with what is essentially a G-37 body, add highly flamed maple, add beautiful neck - mix thoroughly & presto, a uniquely sweet instrument!

Richard, I took some flak about the PG when I purchased mine a couple of years ago. Mine too was NOS. I had a K&K installed. Great find!
