Actually made by Hagstrom as far as I know.Ooh, with the Guild Adjusto-matic Bridge!
Although they can be a little sharp for palm muting.

The 1970 price list showed those cases:This guitar came with a really nice older Harptone hard case but I am pretty confident that was not the original case that came with the guitar. From doing some quick research I have been unable to determine what case would have come with this guitar in 1970. I see Starfires listed from around this timeframe and noted that they come with the original case and the interiors are blue, grey and that orange color. My older Starfires have the case with the orange interior and my newer Guilds have the blue interior. What would have been original to this Starfire or were there multiple suppliers around 1970? I am trying to locate an original case.
It appears, from my experience dealing with Japanese stores on eBay, that manufacturers send the Japanese vendors different stuff. For example, PRS guitar colors you'd never find outside of Japan. The same goes for cars and other items. It's just a different market.
