Hey Everyone...
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi!

I am a semi-beginning player and I just purchased my first Guild. I found a new Tacoma built antique burst F30. Paid $1100 OTD and the luthier is setting it up now. I hope to have it in my hands in a couple of days. I found this site a few days ago and have enjoyed reading the posts. I hope I can contribute some as well.

Hey, Welcome, ylab13!
Sounds like you got a great guitar! Pictures are always welcome here, if you get the chance, so we can drool and be envious.

Post well. Post often.

Welcome to LTG ylab! I have a GF25 and understand the F30 is similar in scale. I'm so impressed with the size and performance of that small body. Already thinking of an F30... Pictures please!!!!

An F30 is an outstanding choice of guitar for any caliber of player. You'll have that baby for quite a while. I'm sure. Everyone here loves to see pics so post 'em ASAP if you will.

How did you decide upon that particular guitar?

Welcome to LTG, and congrats on your choice. I've played the Tacoma-build F30 and I found it to be a wonderful instrument.

Indeed, please show some pictures when you get it. :)

A legendary model indeed, played by a such great as Paul Simon in the '60s, among others. Hopefully I'll experience the red spruce over mahogany 30/ OM-size in the CO-2 I'll be buying this spring, should my economy allow.

I just love the OM-size, which is slightly different than the 16" low depth mini-jumbo/ large concert size of the Willy Porter I have.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I have always liked the OM/OOO size guitars. The F30 was just the one I was waiting for. I new my local shop had some on order but they took a very long time to get them in. It was definitely worth the wait though.

Pics will be posted as soon as the setup is done and I get her home. Couple of days I hope. They are backed up a bit from Christmas.
