Newark St. Guild M75G Aristocrat -SOLD
This a fairly new Newark St. Guild M75G Aristocrat. The goldtop was a limited run, but I don’t know how many were made. The back, sides, and neck are mahogany. VERY good condition w/ OHSC.
From Guild:
"Chambered body. The limited edition M-75G features a luxurious gold metallic top with lightly stained mahogany back, sides and neck offset with nickel hardware. This unique compact guitar has a gracefully sculpted hollow body designed specifically to produce the resonance of a larger sized instrument. Select spruce top; mahogany sides & back; 3-piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck; twin Guild “Frequency tested” single-coil pickups with individual volume and tone controls; 3-way pickup selector; rosewood bridge; Guild “harp” tailpiece and Grover Sta-Tite™ tuning machines."
The Bigsby was professionally installed by SF Guitar Works here in San Francisco. The original harp tailpiece will be included and because of the neck angle and arched-top geometry, a Bigsby B3 works quite well. I will also include an unused, un-slotted Sorkin style Bigsby bridge w/base in case you ever want to use a wound G.
The pickups were rewound to a slightly lower output, closer to vintage specs by SF Guitarworks' guy, Schuyler Dean Pickups (link below). They were also lightly wax-potted and RWRP for hum-cancelling in the middle position.

$925 and it’s yours, shipped CONUS. Email with questions or for more pics.
