Picked up a barely used G&L ASAT Tribute and a Spark Mini to go with it. I thought it would be fun to play some Lightning Hopkins and John Lee Hooker type stuff on.

Those sparks are supposed to be pretty great. What's your impression?

(Very) early impressions-the tones for the various amps are amazingly realistic, but shrunk by the speaker. There’s just no replacement for displacement. As a practice amp that won’t anger neighbors and/or significant others, it’s really something.

@GGJaguar , is the neck humbucking pickup on the G & L set further away from the neck than on a Fender
of the same type? I have always wanted one of these, but something seems a bit off to me. Is it just me?

@davidbeinct , pretty guitar. Is is white or a really pale (Sonic?) blue?

It’s called cream but it definitely has a blueish tinge. Lighter than sonic blue though.

I never paid attention to its position. It's one of G&L's most popular models so they must be doing something right.
