As we slowly become empty nesters, we have another un-used bedroom downstairs. I'm converting it into a music room :D

Still have a ways to go on the room (re-paint, clean carpet, etc) but I gave it a test run last night. Took my DV-52 in there and played a couple tunes, sounded so good I stayed in there and played for about an hour :D Pics will follow when I get the room all set up!

One of my New Year's resolutions is to redo my office/music room, but we all know how those pesky resolutions can get sidetracked.
I'd love to have one room that I could devote entirely to music, so be sure to enjoy your room while it's empty, Dread!

Take a Guild (or two) and a libation of your choice into the room and check out the acoustics....for a couple of days/weeks.

Keep us posted,
Joe

I'm taking a wild guess that you actually want a little echo but not too much? Try keeping 3 walls bare or reflective, with one wall (one of the longer walls if it's a rectangular room) being the "absorbing" wall, behind you in your planned playing position. (Advice based on my completely unscientific observations).
