If you remember, our cat of 13 years vanished in October. She would run up on the front porch every time I went out to play. This is by no means a replacement, as she will have her own personality( but she did perk up when I played this afternoon). She purrs nonstop, and is trying to adjust to the dogs. We named her Peaches, as she has peach colored marking on her ears and back. She is super chill!

Haha! Looks like a good one! A longhair blue dilute lynx point?

Peaches is adorable. Makes me want a kitten, but our two cats would probably veto that idea. No doubt Peaches has found a wonderful home and you have found a delightful kitty.

She appears to be a Torbie, which is apparently rare. It’s a cross between a Tortoiseshell and a Tabby. A Torbie looks like a Tabby, but has patches of red and cream. That’s her!
Thanks for the responses, LTG!!

So just played Stella Blue to her

and she just sat up so chill! Played some Zep, 10 Years Gone, and some Neil, Old Man, and she
crashed! When stopped, she opened her eyes, like “don’t stop!”

She’s a keeper!!

Great pic Sandy and another awesome looking cat.... it immediately triggered childhood memories of the SEV Marchal cat I loved on giant billboards around the Le Mans track.... :giggle:

Great news for you. She has already accepted you, I see. That's what you want in a cat. We have only had one cat that was aloof. She died late 2019 and in all honesty, none of us were grief stricken.

So the new cat is(so far) an indoor cat, so she can’t run up on the porch and hang out while I play. But I have some other fans, now. This little guy has come up the last few nights to hang out with me.
